I’m Ahmet Efe Demirkaya, based in Ontario. I work across business development, product marketing, and practical AI, with experience in software, professional services, operations, and entrepreneurship.
My work combines prospect research with B2B copywriting and direct customer conversations. I organize information for outreach, explain software through written and recorded content, and help customers get started through demos and one-to-one onboarding.
That sits alongside hands-on experience leading sort-line operations at FedEx and co-founding a service business. Across these roles, I focus on clear communication, useful materials, and a handoff the next person can continue.

People come first for me. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, hearing how they grew up, and finding things we have in common. Toronto has been perfect for that. Some of my favourite nights are spent around a table with friends from three or four different cultures, swapping stories and laughing about how differently we were raised.
That table usually has food on it. I’m a big foodie, and a new spot or a dish I’ve never heard of is almost always an easy yes. I’ll try pretty much anything once. Food is one of my favourite ways to get to know a culture—and the person introducing me to it.
Cars are another big part of my life. I’ve been a Subaru WRX/STI guy for years, and I have a garage full of tools to show for it. I used to buy cars that needed work, fix them myself at home, and flip them, teaching myself along the way with help from YouTube and AI. I went through 15 cars in two years. Next up is a Tesla Model 3, which is a bit of a plot twist for a Subaru guy, but here we are.
I’m also the person who researches everything before buying it. Monitors, chargers, tennis shoes—it doesn’t matter. If I’m spending money on it, I’ve probably read far too many reviews, compared the specs, and possibly made a spreadsheet.
Most weeks, you’ll find me on the tennis court twice. It’s where I switch my brain off and just compete.
I’m a gamer too: League, CS2, Battlefield, Siege, and Escape from Tarkov. I got so deep into Tarkov that I built my own AI analyst for prices, traders, and loadouts. All of it runs on a PC I built myself, paired with a 32-inch 4K OLED monitor. The research habit definitely played a part in that setup.
When something catches my interest, I tend to start experimenting. I run AI models locally to see what they can do, and I build little tools for fun, including a browser extension that checks who doesn’t follow me back on Instagram. Sometimes curiosity leads somewhere useful. Sometimes it answers a very specific question.
The quieter side of me is interested in psychology and personal growth: why people act the way they do, how relationships work, and how I can keep becoming a better person.
I grew up in Ankara, Türkiye, and lived in Izmir just before coming to Toronto, which I’ve called home since 2021. Somewhere along the way, I picked up a Chinese name too: 奕辰 (Yìchén).
