Portfolio preference

aed_analytics_choice_v1 is stored in local storage, a browser feature distinct from cookies. It contains your allow/decline choice, a policy version and an expiry time. The site treats the preference as expired after six months and asks again. Browser data can remain until the browser or site clears or replaces it.

This preference is used to respect your choice, not to link your visits together. Deleting site data removes the remembered choice. If local storage is blocked, the choice applies only to the current page.

Optional analytics

Before you allow analytics, no optional page-view or résumé-click event is sent by the portfolio code. Allow and Decline are equally available. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected. The portfolio’s own code uses no advertising pixels, session replay or third-party analytics libraries. Embedded videos are optional and load only after you choose Play; social feeds are not embedded.

Even after opting in, policy pages do not send analytics events. The privacy policy explains the limited fields, private Telegram reports and retention.

Optional YouTube players

Local video previews do not load YouTube. Choosing Play loads a player from youtube-nocookie.com; YouTube may process network information and use cookies or other storage. This choice is separate from the portfolio’s six-month analytics preference. Choosing Decline analytics does not unload a video you already chose to load. Closing the case reader or opening another case removes its player; leaving a standalone page also removes its player.

Hosting and security storage

The hosting and security services may process network information or use necessary storage. The public portfolio has no sign-in or administrative dashboard. Private records are accessed separately through my Cloudflare account.

This policy does not claim the hosting platform sets no cookies. Exact provider cookies and durations can change and are governed by the provider’s notices. Declining portfolio analytics does not disable essential hosting and security operations.

Change your choice

Use the button below or “Privacy choices” in any footer. You can also clear site storage or adjust cookie settings in your browser. You can browse the portfolio and download the résumé without accepting optional analytics.

Allowing analytics is not consent to marketing email. A future material change to tracking will require this notice and the consent controls to be reviewed.
