Coolumba · Targeting and commercial research
Turn a broad market into a useful next step.
Organized 4,226 contact records by product fit and decision-maker tier.
For Coolumba, I built targeting resources that connect the company’s accounting software with relevant organizations, buyers and outreach approaches.
Research with a clear structure
- Accounting-firm lists, Ontario and Alberta market research, private-equity intelligence and executive briefs.
- Regional qualification rules, quality flags, outreach stages and CRM identifiers.
- Research on 34 industry events and a 27-entry shortlist from 143 investor records.
From findings to follow-up
I developed a 20-step go-to-market playbook, network-entry strategies, cold-email templates and response branches. Seven reactivation sequences include eligibility and holdback guidance for colleagues planning follow-up.
Research shared with PKF Antares
The private-equity and accounting-firm research supports both PKF Antares and Coolumba. The shared workbook’s go-to-market guide explicitly connects the research to Coolumba software, with separate firm populations, role-specific outreach angles and fields for follow-up. Equivalent copies are one shared research artifact.
Accounting-practice acquisition research is also shared: a source-linked comparison of sale listings, distinct from a general directory of firm contacts. Read the methods and scope in shared PE and accounting-firm research and accounting-practice acquisition research.
What the work supports
Reusable research and messaging that preserve why an account fits and what a useful next conversation could cover.
My role: targeting, research and outreach preparation. The 4,226 figure counts contact records, not unique leads.
